Our range covers every daily need: face, body, hair, sensitive skin. With one rule: ingredients that deserve to touch your skin. Olive oil, laurel berry oil, water, plant-based soda. Nothing else.
Our formulas range from 5% to 70% laurel berry oil, a range for every need: Everyday Softness (5%), Natural Balance (20%), Authentic Purity (40%), Intensive Care (55%) and Expert Purification (70%). The higher the level, the more targeted the action for demanding skin.
LAURALYA — the name, the story
Lauralya comes from two words. Laurel first — a symbol of victory and wisdom for centuries across the Mediterranean and the East. Alya then — a name of Arabic and Hebrew origin meaning “noble” or “celestial”.
Celestial laurel. That’s where the name comes from. And that’s what we aim for: authentic care, rooted in a 3,000-year-old tradition, formulated to meet the requirements of European cosmetic regulations.
Behind the brand is Organic Bio Tech, a French company based in the Drôme, working with Syrian soap-making artisans.
Aleppo soap — 3,000 years before Marseille soap
It’s the oldest known hard soap recipe. Made for more than 3,000 years in Aleppo, Syria, from two ingredients: olive oil and laurel berry oil.
Making it takes time. Slow cooking in a cauldron, then natural drying for several months. That process is what gives the soap its density, its softness and its lasting quality. Our soaps are made in Aleppo using this traditional method, with no shortcuts.
No added fragrance, no dye, no additives. Tested and approved by tradition. What you see is what’s in it.

Packaging you can plant
Every Lauralya box is handmade from 100% recycled paper infused with oregano seeds. Once empty, you plant it: it grows into oregano. Zero waste, nothing wasted.
Slight irregularities may appear on the boxes. That’s intentional — they’re part of the handmade character of this packaging.
A real, human commitment
Our soaps are checked and cleaned each year with the support of local associations that help people with disabilities: House of Fraternity in Latakia and Saint Maroun Oasis in Aleppo.
The packaging is done by Syrian women rebuilding their lives in difficult conditions. This work gives them stability and an income. Buying a Lauralya soap means caring for your skin. It also means, with no obligation, being part of something bigger.
